About Jennifer Marvin
Jennifer is a lifelong student and teacher. Jennifer Marvin, RYT200, has been teaching in the Hudson Valley since 2016. Enrolled in dance classes at the age of 4, movement has always been a part of her life. It was Yoga, that allowed her to truly change the relationship between mind, body and breath. These changes have been so profound for her, that she was compelled to make it her career. Injuries and loss have gratefully shaped her teachings, deepened her education and ability to serve her students. Jennifer has advanced her studies to include Trauma Informed Yoga, through Hala Khouri of OTM and through Crossover Yoga Project. Forrest Inspired Vinyasa is her newest offering, as she continues to advance her studies with Forrest Guardian Erica Mather. Whether studying Privately, in class or in a workshop, Jennifer’s guidance brings a fun, fresh perspective. Students are challenged, offerings are creative, compassionate, adventurous and inspiring. In appreciation and service to all her teacher's, she joyfully shares this gift of Yoga.
“Over the past few years I have been studying Yoga with Jennifer Marvin. Due to various health reasons, of which she is aware, I modify with her encouragement. Her compassion goes beyond the yoga mat. She has reminded me on real rough emotional days when I am overwhelmed with caregiver fatigue to remember to attend to my radical self care. How wonderful is that?!”
